This comfort food is a complete meal in one simple dish.

2 lbs stew meat
4 cups water
1 Tbs salt
1 medium red onion, diced
1/2 tsp pepper
2 dash cloves
2 tsp gluten free worcestershire sauce
2 cups baby carrots, whole
2 Tbs oil
2 Tbs lemon juice
1 garlic clove, diced
2 whole bay leaves
2 tsp sugar
1 tsp paprika
3 strips of celery, thinly sliced
10 red potatoes, cut into quarters
3 Tbs gluten free flour (your choice)
1. In large saucepan, brown meat in oil, over medium high heat, about 10 min.
2. In large crock-pot, combine water and spices over medium heat. Add meat, carrot, potatoes, celery and onion into crock-pot.
3. Cook on low all day, 4-6 hours.
4. Before serving, mix gluten free flour with 1/4 cup water, add to stew to thicken.
